What’s Different About Icon Box?

Icon Box is a quarterly, members-only upgrade of eight full-size products (worth up to $350) curated by beauty’s biggest icons. Whereas Glam Bag and BoxyCharm ship monthly, Icon Box is only available in February, May, August, and November, and will replace your base membership during those months. (We take our time when it comes to choosing the best of the best for you!). You’ll receive eight full-size, uber-coveted products plus more perks than ever before, including influencer-curated items. So you know your assortment has that good-good.

When Do I Get To Choose?

You get to build your *perfect* (read: most extra) Icon Box during each upgrade month starting at 12 p.m. PT on the 1st of each month until 3 p.m. PT on the 3rd. This is when you’ll discover your five icon-curated picks, choose three faves from a personalized assortment, and shop your Add-Ons. Be sure to set a reminder!

Your Icon Box subscription also includes VIP access to exclusive drops, next-level brands, and so much more. You won’t want to miss out!

How Are My Products Selected for Me?

Your responses to the Beauty Quiz (that you took when you first signed up) provides us more than 150 data points to understand you—like a BFF. Each one helps us curate the five products that suit your wants and needs! You then get to choose your remaining three full-sized faves from a personalized assortment. These products have been selected from the curated Icon Box collection by our proprietary IPSY Match technology that takes into account your Beauty Quiz plus product ratings and reviews.

This is why your feedback is both valuable to other members as well as yourself. The more feedback we have from you, the more personalized your box will be. Plus, you earn points every time you leave a review, which can be redeemed for free products. So keep up with your reviews and score big time.

How Do I Know the Brands Will Be Good?

These collections are curated by beauty’s biggest icons, which means they’re full of the hottest, coolest, and buzziest products from beauty’s most-wanted brands. Five of the products will be handpicked for you by the Icon Box curator based on your Beauty Quiz results, and you’ll pick the other three, meaning your box has never been more you.

Do I Have To Choose?

Choosing is totally optional, but where’s the fun in that? Build Your Box helps us learn more about your preferences, which means personalization gets better over time.

But if you want to make your Icon Box feel even more like a gift to yourself, you can let us do the choosing for you by clicking the “Skip” button when you enter the Build Your Box page.

What About Add-Ons?

You still have access to your Add-Ons on the 1st of the month (and by now, you already know how amazing these deals are—so don’t sleep on these!). A quick refresher: You get to shop your Add-Ons as soon as you choose, so be sure to confirm your three full-size products early. That way, you’ll get to complete your box with product Add-Ons ASAP.

You can choose up to 10 Add-Ons starting on the 1st of every month when you Build Your Box. It’s super easy to make Add-Ons work for you, too, with tons of can’t-miss options available for $3.50, $12, $18, $25, and $50. Plus, they all ship free with your box!

Which Memberships Can Build Their Box From the 1st to 3rd?

Right now, only BoxyCharm and Icon Box members build their boxes from the 1st to 3rd (monthly for BoxyCharm and quarterly for Icon Box), but we’re constantly exploring more ways to make the IPSY experience even better for all members.
